Knit in the round, this design is an easy and quick knit. Shaping, if chosen by the knitter, is done before the side ribbing to maintain the integrity of the side panel. Shoulders are as wide as one half the side panel plus 3 stitches at the neck edge.

A second set of the same needle size for the front and back border sections, or yarn to hold one section while you knit the second section.

Using the recommended needle size for the yarn that you choose, Cast on 40 stitches and knit 40 rows to insure that your gauge is measured when you are relaxed. take the swatch off the needles and measure in the center and top of the swatch.
