Construction

The T-Shirt is knit from the bottom up in the round until the arm openings, after which the front and back are knitted flat. Simple decreases shape the collar before binding off and seaming the shoulders. Stitches are picked up to knit sleeves in the round.

With Modification Notes for for garment length and sleeve width are noted throughout the pattern.

Gauge

17 st and 24 rows = 4” x 4” on 3 US/3.25mm

Knitters using smoother yarns than the suggested yarn may need to increase needle size to get gauge, as it will glide more easily and often result in more tightening after each stitch. Wash and block before checking gauge swatch, as plant fiber blends can be unpredictable to those more accustomed to wool—expect a loosening of the fabric horizontally over time.
