Beachcomber
Designed by Carlie Perrins
The breezy laid-back vibe of the beach is what inspired this pullover. I picture wearing it as I wander along the sand picking up the treasures the waves rhythmically reveal. This tee is a little bit classic, a little bit ‘boho’ and easily dresses up or down. I know this easy to wear pullover will become a summer layering staple in your wardrobe.
Beachcomber is worked top down and in one piece starting with the back. The shoulders are picked up along the back cast on edge and the body is finished in the round from the under arms. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round as well. The drop shoulder construction makes for a roomy pullover, perfect for layering over a bathing suit or a special cami.

Beachcomber is knit using 100% linen, which gives a fantastic drape and breathable comfort for those warmer months. I have used 5 colours in the sample, but this pattern could easily be made in one, two or many colours, the choice is yours. I’ve included total yardage amounts so you have sufficient guidance to make Beachcomber in a yarn and colours of your choosing. I do recommend using a plant-fibre yarn: linen, cotton, bamboo, rayon, or any blend of those to get that excellent drape.
