Unit of measurement

You can select the unit of measure you most commonly use: inches or centimeters. All measurements should be entered in that unit, and the instructions in your custom pattern will calculated in that unit

Pattern Types

There are two types of patterns in Shop:

• KnitFit™ Custom Patterns (custom sized pattern)
• Traditional patterns (traditionally graded pattern)

Estimating Yarn Quantities

Yarn quantities for custom patterns depend on the yarn weight you choose and your body measurements. You can estimate the yarn quantity for your custom pattern by consulting our guide here.

Follow

You can follow any user. They don’t need to follow you back in order for you to see their public posts in the Connect Feed.

Friend

A ‘Friend’ is mutual; when you send a friend request, the user must accept before you become Friends.

Deleting posts

Each post on the Connect feed has a three dots menu at the top right, which has an option for deleting your post.

Connect Feed

The social area of the app where users share posts with photos and project updates. Users can ‘like’ and comment on posts.

Post Privacy Settings

You can set a post to show up for ‘Public,’ ‘Friends,’ ‘Followers,’ or ‘Only Me,’ while creating your post or after the post has been published. Settings are accessible via the post’s three dots menu.

Find Connections

Find Connections is a tool for finding friends and users to follow.

Uploading Patterns

Add any External Pattern pdf you own to your Project Library to organize your patterns in one place! From Project Library, tap Upload Pattern.

External Pattern

External Patterns are any pattern pdfs you own which you have uploaded to your Project Library. External Patterns are any patterns purchased outside of knitfitco Shop.

Pattern Notes

Notes saved in a pattern. Tap a pattern in Project Library, then tap the floating green page icon to access Pattern Notes.

KnitFit™ Custom Pattern

A pattern than can be generated for body measurements using KnitFit™ Pattern Generator

Traditional Pattern

A pattern than is graded in the traditional way, with a set number of sizes available to knit.

Project Library

The area of knitfitco where patterns are stored, organized, and managed.
